Dark Side Chocolates is a small, boutique chocolate shop & cafe located in downtown Cumberland, in the beautiful Comox Valley. Allison and her skilled staff proudly handmake small batches of delightful, delicious truffles and confections with love & magick! We are passionate about bringing you the best, and spreading joy through chocolate.

We use rich cream and delicious organic, fair trade chocolate for our truffle centres. We source fresh, interesting ingredients, many of them local to the Comox Valley, to bring joy and authentic flavours of good food to your chocolate experience.

No junk! No waxes, fillers, or preservatives are used in our chocolate. Just the good stuff. Most of our chocolate does not contain gluten or soy (though we do work with gluten) and we have loads of vegan and dairy-free options. We're sure we have a treat for almost everyone!

Our cafe pours espresso from House of Funk Roasters in Vancouver, BC. You can choose from classic Americanos and Lattes, to our stand-out Mocha and award winning Hot Chocolates, made with real melted chocolate. Milk alternatives are no extra charge!

In the summers we serve shave ice! Fruit syrups- all made in house with real fruit, juices, and purees and sweetended with organic cane sugar- flavour bowls full of fluffy ice. The perfect hot summer, cool off treat.
